About
Dion Cooley
Dion Cooley is a Detroit native, author, and concert promoter whose urban street tales blend raw authenticity with deep respect for women’s voices. After serving 15 years in prison, he turned to writing as a path of redemption, publishing his debut novel Chasin Money in 2008. Known for capturing both the triumphs and tragedies of street life, Cooley’s stories reflect resilience, transformation, and the lived experiences of the communities that shaped him.

Our Mission: Global Cooley Publishing
Connecting Through Stories
At Global Cooley Publishing, our mission is to amplify authentic voices and preserve the pulse of urban storytelling. We are dedicated to producing bold, culture-driven narratives that reflect real experiences—stories born from the streets, shaped by resilience, and elevated through art.
Our goal is to give rise to authors who move readers the same way music moves a crowd—capturing emotion, truth, and transformation on every page. From Detroit to the world, we publish with purpose, passion, and power—building a literary legacy that honors where we come from and inspires where we’re going.
